Gravity

Sometime in 2009

gravity overwhelms everything
even the stars will collapse under their own weight
the strange circuitous mystery
the invisible conduits and crevasses
the underground rivers
of this heavy head
the sound of train doors closing
the million layers of language
the strange new beauty of waking with
the shining light in your eyes
in my eyes
through the yellow warehouses and razor wire walls
the rusted rails
the dappled shadow leaves silhouettes
the elliptic path of the heart
the repetition
the repetition
and the quiet voice of intuition
the state between asleep and awake
the labyrinthine psychic possibilities
the seeking for what you already have
the who you already are
the whatever you were worrying about
the sense of obligation
the tide of information
the forgotten fragments of dreams
the words whispered in sleep
the eyelids, heavy
the eventual collapse of the sun
gravity overwhelms everything
everything and everyone
